    Very good

Central location - right by the sea and only 5 mins from Churchill Sq shopping centre. Quiet at night time.

One toilet for the whole floor of people approx. 20 Window wouldn't stay open broken sash cord No chairs to sit on in the room. No common room area to relax in

I liked the architecture of the hotel and that it was situated in the lovely (though surprisingly rundown) Regency Place which faces the sea. Our room had large windows that when opened you could easily walk onto the balcony overlooking the square.

The triple room (1 double & 1 single bed) we stayed in wasn't worth the rate we paid for it. The decor looked dated. The ridculous ensuite bathroom was nothing more than an enclosure in the corner of the room; no effort has been made to tile the area or upgrade the facilities - carpet in the bathroom! The continental breakfast selection was wasn't very appetising and quite poor in comparison with other small hotels I've stayed in.

Good location - central to Royal Pavilion, pier

Unfortunately the shower plumbing blocked up after 1.5 showers and was unusable. For the next 2 hours staff unfortunately were in and out trying to unblock it unsuccessfully. The bathroom lacked soap holders / toilet roll holders, and generally below standard. A generous discount was given. Also there is no free parking and you need to avoid the homeless people sleeping in the council carpark.

    Nice

I liked the room which had really nice furniture and was clean and it was a quiet hotel at night Breakfast was included in the rate and was a good continental breakfast with healthy choices - Rate good for a seafront location

Did not know that the room would be up 4 flights of stairs with no lift so best to check which room you have if that may cause you problems .Shared bathroom not so good but as it was only for one night it was ok . a toilet was next to my room which was good as convenient for me but was a bit noisy when used by others in the night

Only one toilett for all of the guest, that's not much..

    Nice

We stayed in a 'Superior room', and we were very disappointed with the en-suite facility, very basic, the shower cubicle kept flooding and the toilet cistern was loose and very hard to flush. The room itself was fine, but needed a bit of decoration. For a 'superior room' we thought it was quite 'inferior'.

The location was good. Generaly the staff were helpful, The breakfast was adequate but somewhat sparten.

The room we were given was poorly situated, In the basement about ! metre from pavement area outside so was a bit noisy at night. My immediate reaction was to ask for another room but we were only there I night so I didnt, The shower was very basic,

    Very good

The location was good for my stay as I was attending a conference at the Brighton Centre which is only 5 minutes walk away.

My room was on the 4th floor which involved a hike of 8 flights of stairs. Good if your in to fitness !

    Very good

Location is fantastic, right by the sea front and just a couple of minutes' walk from the main strip of pubs and clubs. Rate was very reasonable, and 24hr car park opposite is very handy. Room was clean and functional, perfect for a group of mates going out on the town who just need a place to dump their stuff and crash. Staff were very friendly on arrival.

Bit odd having a shower directly in the room, but for a group of lads on a weekend away it wasn't too much bother. Room was a little bit stuffy during warm weather even with the window open, didn't see any air-con facility. Our room was on the top floor, lots of stairs to climb (but I'm pretty unfit anyway).

    Great

Lots to like if you don't mind budget. Staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. Hotel was cheap for Brighton with shower in the room, though we had to share a toilet. Excellent location. Breakfast was okay and served until 10am, but they didn't hurry to clear it away so we stayed in the breakfast room later than 10am. Able to book only one night on a weekend. Could cancel up to 48 hours in advance with no deposit. All in all a very good budget hotel. I would go again and recommend to anyone on a budget.

Sharing toilets. No tv wasn't issue for us as we stayed only one night, but might be if you stayed longer.
